June 2017
Dear Friends and Co Labourers,
Again, Cassie and I greet you in the wonderful name of our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. As I begin to ponder His many blessings over the course of the last two months, one of my favorite portions of Scripture comes to mind. Lamentations 3:22-23 says, “It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” We are so humbled by the opportunity to serve our wonderful Lord in the capacity in which He has called us to do so. It is only by His faithfulness we are able to continue. We’re also thrilled to labor together with you in order to carry out God’s will to reach the world with the Gospel. Only eternity will reveal the true worth of our efforts together. Thank you.
These past few weeks have been very busy to say to the least. Since our last prayer letter we have interviewed church planters headed to Honduras, the Philippines, as well as the great state of Texas. I have had the privilege of visiting with two of our church planters in the state of Montana and to again see the need first hand for Bible believing churches in the Western USA. In the month of June, I plan to travel to Nebraska as well as New Mexico in order to try and be a help to more of our church planters. Would you please join me in prayer for traveling mercies? Certainly a world at its worst, needs a church at its best! We have also been in a different church every week since our last letter “fanning the flame of world evangelism.” As a result of that, we have been blessed to see churches increase their faith promise missions giving as well as develop an even greater vision to reach the world with the gospel. It is only through your faithful giving and your fervent prayers that we are able to continue. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
We do have a very special prayer request this quarter. Lord willing, in July of 2018, should the Lord stay His coming, we will be making a trip to Europe with Macedonia’s European Field Director, Dr. Roger Baker. God has put it on Dr. Baker’s heart to have a European conference in Germany in order to meet with and encourage as many of our European church planters as possible. Currently, MWBM has 11 families serving in Europe and the Middle East. Cassie and I would love to accompany Dr. Baker during the conference. As you can imagine, the cost of such a trip is very expensive. Currently we can expect to pay as much as $1500 a person just to get there. However, we are firmly convinced if the Lord wants us there, He is able to provide to that end. If you could help us pray that God would help us meet this need we would appreciate it very much. We will certainly do our part knowing that God has promised to do His. He is able!
Beyond a shadow of a doubt the highlight of our travels since our last letter came on a Wednesday night at the Eastside Baptist Church in Mebane, NC, when after I finished preaching a ten year old girl named Cayleigh knelt in the altar and asked Jesus to save her soul. Praise the Lord! God is still in the soul saving business! Therefore, with joy in our hearts, we continue by faith.

Cassie and I greet you again in the wonderful name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. It is always a joy to share news of fruit abounding to the account of those of you that pray and partner with us on a regular basis. God has used each of you this quarter to supply our every need for which we are tremendously thankful. Several churches sent special Christmas gifts in the month of December for our family. Therefore, from the bottom of our hearts we want to thank you. You have been so very gracious and kind.
Over the past few weeks our office staff has been working diligently to provide our missionaries with the tax documents required by the IRS at year’s end. As you can imagine, this is a monumental task when you consider we have over 120 families that require this service. Since becoming the General Director of Macedonia World Baptist Missions, I have come to appreciate our home office staff more than I ever have before. Their passion for what God has called upon each of us to do for our missionary families is contagious. This year Macedonia celebrates 50 years of partnering with pastors, local churches and missionaries to get the Gospel around the world. Only eternity will reveal the true worth of our efforts together.
Many highlights come to mind as I think back over the course of the last few months. As a result of your prayers and financial support Cassie and I have traveled literally thousands of miles in order to “fan the flame of world evangelism.” We have been blessed as well to see thousands of dollars raised through the faith promise missions giving of God’s people through their local church. However, the greatest highlight of the quarter would have to be our trip to visit Macedonia World Baptist Missions church planters Jason and Heather Lowe serving on the island of New Providence in the West Indies. Since 2006, they along with their children Audrey, Ian, Aiden, and Ethan have given their lives to reach the Bahamian people for Christ. Having planted the Beacon Baptist Church there, they continue to see souls saved and lives forever changed by the power of the Gospel. As I preached on Sunday morning to a full house, one young lady having been convicted of her need to be saved trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour. At that very moment I was reminded yet again, the Gospel never has, nor will it ever lose it’s power! It truly is as Paul said in Romans 1:16, “…the power of God unto salvation…” I was also reminded that God is still calling men to plant churches and reach people for His glory. As a result of the Lowes being obedient to our Lord’s command to take the Gospel to the West Indies, a young lady heard the truth of God’s Word and was gloriously saved! I wonder how many more could be reached with that same Gospel if we would just get busy doing with the Gospel what Jesus commanded us to do with the Gospel. Where there is a creature, God intends for there to be a preacher!
In closing, Cassie and I ask that you would please continue to pray for our safety as we travel. We have several other missions trips planned this year for which we trust the Lord to provide the funds. Therefore, we continue by faith.
In His service,
Dr. Scott Caudill

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
Cassie and I greet you in the wonderful name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and wish you all a Merry Christmas. This time of year, we are very thankful for the opportunity to remind ourselves that the Lord Jesus was willing to become like us so that we could become like Him. This is a truth that God has commanded us to share with the entire world. Therefore with the Lord’s help and yours, we continue to do so by faith.
God has blessed in so many ways since our last update. We rejoice that as a result of your prayers and special gifts, we were able to purchase a newer vehicle for the ministry. This has been a pressing need, and we are glad to be able to report that God has met that need in a wonderful way. To GOD be the glory!
Our travels to “fan the flame of world evangelism” have taken us as far north as Canada and as far south as Florida. We have seen souls saved, lives changed, and hearts burdened for the great need to reach the world with the glorious gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We certainly praise God for safety on the road and in the air, as well as for the many times our wonderful Lord has provided our every need. He has used many of you to do that for which we are tremendously thankful. Thank you all so very much for your faithful prayers and financial support. We could not do what God has called us to do without you. We are truly labourers together with God.
Since our last update, our home office staff has or will interview potential missionaries to Burma, Papau, New Guinea, Africa, as well as India. Whereas I rejoice in the missionaries that God is still calling into the Gospel ministry today, my heart is tremendously burdened for the great need of more labourers. Jesus said in Luke 10:2, “…The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.” I wonder how many more of God’s children would surrender their lives to reach the world with the gospel if you and I would simply join together in prayer for labourers? The King’s business requires haste! Will you pray for labourers today? Will you surrender your life to do the King’s bidding? Will you give that men might live in Christ today?
In closing let me assure you that not only do Cassie and I appreciate and covet your prayers, we also pray for each of you as well. Our hearts are filled with gratitude for each and every one of you that strive together with us for the Gospel’s sake. We hope the Lord will allow our paths to cross again soon. In the meantime, we will by the good grace of God continue by faith. We love and appreciate you all. Thank you for your faithfulness.

Dear co labourers and friends,
“To God be the glory, Great things He hath done” are the words that come to mind as Cassie and I reflect upon God’s blessings over the course of the last two months. Since our last letter we have been blessed to see several souls saved and several churches increase their missions giving as well as their awareness of the great need to reach the world with the gospel. Our travels to “fan the flame of world evangelism” have taken us to Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Alabama, North and South Carolina, Maryland, and of course our home state of Georgia. For literally thousands of miles either in the air or on the land our wonderful Lord has answered the prayers of God’s people in keeping us safe as we travel. To God be the glory!
One of the highlights of the quarter was for Cassie and I to have a part in our MWBM Western USA Orientation that was hosted by Pastor Jimmy Robertson and the Buffalo Baptist Church of Buffalo, Wyoming. We enjoyed the fellowship of nine different church planting families during the week and were moved by their obvious burden for the West. While there, we were yet again reminded of the tremendous need for churches right here in our own county. Town after town, city after city with no Bible believing church, no Preacher preaching the truth, no gospel witness. Truly a world at its worst needs a church at its best.
We are also rejoicing over the fact that two more churches have purposed to partner with us on a monthly basis. Thank you Pastor Davy Shelton and the Gateway Baptist Church of Boiling Springs, SC, as well as Pastor Steve Pope and the Calvary Baptist Church of Union Grove, NC, for your prayers and faithful support. I assure you, Cassie and I both will do our part in seeing that fruit abounds to your account as a result of your investment in the ministry to which God has called us.
In our last letter, I asked you to please help us pray about the need of newer transportation for our family. Since averaging between 50 and 60,000 miles a year on our vehicle the mileage as well as the wear and tear have added up in a hurry. We are so grateful for the $2,000 that has been given toward this need, and we are hoping to make the purchase by the end of the year. We have opened up a special account at our home office in order that we may set funds aside for another vehicle. Will you please help us pray that God will lead us to the very one that He would have us to purchase? Let me again assure you this is not a frivolous request on our part, but rather a genuine need we are trusting God will supply in order to help us continue to do what He has called us to do.
In closing we are very grateful for our supporting churches and individuals. It is only as we continue to labor together that we can most effectively make an eternal difference for the cause of our wonderful Lord. Only eternity will reveal the true worth of our efforts together. Therefore, we continue by faith.
Sincerely,
Dr. Scott Caudill

Dear Co labourers and Friends,
Cassie and I greet you in the wonderful and worthy name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We say of you as Paul said of the Philippian believers in Philippians 1:3, “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.” We could not do what God has called us to do without your faithful prayers and financial support. We are still at 75% of our needed monthly support for which we are grateful. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank each of you that sacrifice on our behalf for the furtherance of the Gospel.
Our travels this quarter to “fan the flame of world evangelism” have taken us not only through our home state of Georgia, but also to Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Maryland, North and South Carolina, as well as Florida. Each stop along the way has given us opportunity to share the gospel both in and out of the pulpit. After all, world evangelism does not start across the sea, but rather across the street. Please join us in prayer that the seed of the gospel will take root in the hearts of those to which it was sown and bring forth a harvest for God’s glory.
I also wanted to share a very special prayer request with you this quarter. Since leaving the pastorate and coming with Macedonia, Cassie and I have averaged traveling 50,000 miles a year. Needless to say the miles on the used vehicle that we started with have added up in a hurry. I truly feel it is time for us to begin praying about another vehicle. Since we are on the road as much as we are and travel not only with our own luggage but our display and product as well, we feel that God would have us trust Him for a minivan. Please understand that we are simply asking you to help us pray that God would send us to the very one that He would have us to purchase. We believe when God’s timing is right, we will not only know which one that is, but we believe He will also provide the funds for it as well. We believe God! I assure you that this is not a frivolous ambition on our part, but rather a genuine need to most effectively carry out the task that our Lord has called upon us to do. We appreciate your prayers concerning this matter very much. God is able!
Lord willing both Cassie and I will be traveling to Montana and Wyoming July 11-14 to help our North and Southwestern USA Field Directors conduct an orientation for our Western USA missionaries. Currently MWBM assists 21 families planting churches in the Western States and we look forward to spending time with them as well as trying our best to be an encouragement. Please help us pray for safety as we travel and that God would meet with us in a special way while we are there.
If you are ever in the Braselton area of Georgia, we would be honored to have you as our special guest at our home office. Please stop by for a visit and see firsthand what the Lord continues to enable us to do as we assist local Independent Baptist Churches reach the world with the Gospel. To GOD be the glory!
Sincerely,
Dr. Scott Caudill

Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers,
“Rescue the Perishing; Care for the Dying! Jesus is merciful! Jesus WILL save!”
What a glorious truth to share with folks all over the world that Jesus cares for their soul, and longs to save them for all of eternity! What a great responsibility for those of us who are saved to “Rescue the perishing” by sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with them! Our sincere thanks goes out to all of our supporters who make it possible for us to travel the world to share the Gospel and to minister to missionaries who are doing the work of God. If you could go with us and see the great work they are doing on your behalf to preach the Word to the world, you would be very pleased with how your missions dollars are being spent. Only eternity will reveal the worth of your investment in missions. Your labor is not in vain!
Since our last letter, I have had the privilege of visiting two of our Macedonia missionaries in Mexico: Bro. Jonathan Allinson and Bro. Jonathan Anderson. Both of these men and their families are laboring with fervor and zeal to see folks saved and churches planted. I had the privilege to preach in Mexico City at a National Pastor’s Conference with our Mexican Field Director, Bro. Fred Kindhart. It was a great encouragement to know that the Gospel is being heralded forth through the efforts of these Pastors and their churches.
Our travels this quarter have taken us to North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and New York. We are thankful for the safety the Lord has provided us and for the excitement for missions that we have seen among the congregations we have been privileged to minister to. We also had a stay in the hospital during this quarter! I was in Robbinsville, NC for a meeting, but ended up having emergency surgery instead for a problem related to a hernia. God showed great mercy to us by giving us a good doctor and a good hospital staff to care for me during this time. Please pray for me as I face another surgery in November.
We are currently at 70% of our needed monthly support. Our goal of being fully supported by December 2015 is in sight! Would you please help us pray the remainder of our support will be fulfilled by year’s end? It will be a wonderful blessing to give ourselves more fully to fanning the flames of Word Evangelism and to providing any support we can to our missionaries.
May God richly bless you as you serve Him with gladness!
In His Service,

Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers in the Gospel,
“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;” I Timothy 1:12. It is such a privilege and a joy to be in the service of our great King, the Lord Jesus Christ. I am sincerely thankful to Him for calling me to preach and for giving me a work to do for His glory. I am sincerely thankful also to you, our faithful supporters, whom He has used in so many ways to make it possible for me to do what God has called me to do.
The first Sunday in May marked the end of our first year in Missions. The manifold blessings of the Lord over the last year have reminded us daily that where God guides, God always provides! He led us to step out by faith to become the President and General Director of Macedonia World Baptist Missions, and He has abundantly provided for our every need. We have put over 50,000 miles on our vehicle as we travel around the country spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. In each mile He has protected us, provided for us, and proved His care for us. After one year on deputation, God has provided us with 60% of our needed support. We are praying that we will be fully supported by the end of 2015, and be able to give our full attention to the task of being an aid to our missionaries, their supporting churches, and Pastors around the world.
During this quarter I have preached many Revival meetings and Missions meetings. It was my great joy to lead a young man to the Lord at an altar of prayer during a meeting in South Carolina. We also saw two saved at meetings in South and North Carolina. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is what the world needs! It will eternally change the lives of those who place their faith in it! It never grows old! It was also our privilege to be part of a Marriage Retreat as well as a College Graduation. The potential of these young people is unlimited as they give themselves and their families to the cause of Christ. We were encouraged by their response to the preaching of God’s Word.
At the MWBM home office, we are preparing for two days of Missionary Training in June with our newest missionary candidates. It was also exciting for the Home Office to have a departure interview with Br. Jamie Smithey and his family as they plan to leave for Chile, South America in June. Helping these missionaries and others like them take the Gospel around the world is the joy of my life!
I want to praise God for providing the need for the plane fare as I make plans to travel to Mexico in August to be with two of our missionaries. I’m looking forward to seeing what God is doing there. By way of prayer requests, please help us pray for our house in Covington to sell. We truly need to be closer to the Home Office as soon as possible. Also, we appreciate your prayers for our safety on the roads, and for the remainder of our needed support to come in. Your prayers are invaluable to us!
As Cassie and I have traveled this quarter to Maine, Maryland, North and South Carolina, Florida, Virginia, Georgia, and Tennessee, you have gone with us through your faithful prayer and financial support. There is fruit being garnered to your account as the Gospel is preached, tracts are being distributed, and witness is given. Thank you for making the Gospel a priority! Only eternity will reveal the worth of your investment.
In His Service,
Psalm 28:7

Dear Pastor, Churches, and Praying Friends,
What a wonderful privilege to be in the service of our Wonderful Lord! The Bible says in Colossians 3:23-24, “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.” It is our great honor and privilege to be our Lord’s servants, and we are endeavoring to serve Him with all our hearts as we obey His call to help plant churches all over the world.
The Lord has graciously filled our calendar until Spring 2015. Each week we are in Revival meetings, World Missions Conferences, Camp Meetings…it’s a busy schedule! We are so thankful for the opportunity to be able to share the Gospel and to encourage God’s people to walk in obedience to Him in spreading the Gospel around the world. Recently we saw a young lady trust Christ as her Saviour in Florida. It has also been a joy to speak with folks all over the country who feel God’s call on their lives to become missionaries. Besides preaching in many different churches, I am working with the staff and missionary families of Macedonia World Baptist Missions to try to do all we can do to efficiently spread the Gospel to those who have never heard. It is my goal to help local churches reproduce themselves throug the efforts of their missionaries in every corner of the globe. Where there is a creature, there ought to be a Preacher!
In the upcoming months I will be traveling to Maine and New Hampshire to visit church planting missionaries there who are doing a great work for Christ. I will also be blessed to travel to Vancouver, Canada this fall. Please remember our family in your prayers as we seek to raise our needed monthly support. We have realized after all these months of constantly being on the road that the prayer for traveling mercies is much needed! We have seen many traffic accidents and been in much bad weather, but the Lord has protected us each mile.
We are so very thankful to each of you for your financial and prayer support. The Lord has used you as an instrument of His grace to provide for us, and we are sincerely grateful for each of you.
June 2014
As we have completed our first month of deputation, I must say the prominent thing that comes to my mind are the verses in Ephesians 3:20-21…”Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end, Amen.” We have been constantly amazed at the blessing of the Lord’s call upon our lives. We are awed by the way our great God has cared for our every need, sometimes in miraculous ways at just the last minute. We are encouraged by the compassion of Christians who have prayed for us and offered many acts of kindness.
Over the last several weeks we have been part of Mission meetings, Jubilees, Revival meetings and special Sundays in Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and North Carolina. We have been blessed to be in excellent services where the Spirit of God moved and changed lives! One such meeting was especially unique…it was held in an old barn in Robbinsville, NC. After the service a young man let me know that the message from God’s word met a great need in his life. He was a true encouragement. It made me glad I obeyed God in launching out into this great work!
The greatest need of our family at present is monthly support. It is the great purpose of my life to follow the Lord’s leading in partnering with local churches to get missionaries to the field to spread the Gospel of Christ. In order to do this as God has led me, I must have the financial and prayer support of folks like you. Please help me and my family pray that the Lord would burden the hearts of Pastors and individuals to “hold the ropes” for the Caudill family as we seek to help plant Gospel preaching churches all over the world.
